1. What is the SMETA standard?
SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is a social responsibility audit standard developed by Sedex, a global organization providing sustainable supply chain management solutions. SMETA is a comprehensive audit process that includes standards on labor conditions, human rights, occupational health and safety, environmental management, and business ethics.
